Patrowl, leader of offensive security-as-a-service, is proud to announce it has raised €11M in a Series A funding round with participation of Crédit Mutuel Innovation, SWEN Capital Partners, BPIfrance and the historical investor Auriga Cyber Ventures. These funds will allow Patrowl to intensify its conquest of the European market and R&D. As the period is difficult for tech companies, the cybersecurity sector is still growing. Moreover, Patrowl was able to prove the viability of its economic model and show an innovative solution compared with traditional ones.

The Patrowl concept came to light when a penetration test was made on an e-commerce website which got hacked not long after, due to a newly-added functionality after the test. The proof was here : traditional security processes are no longer adapted to the elevated rhythm of evolution of online assets.

Rare, limited to one-time discovery, pentests are ineffective over time. A few months later, the combination of continuous monitoring and large-scale automation resulted in the Patrowl SaaS solution.
